What is Saprendeh?
It is a non-profit Civil Association located in the municipalities of Tovar and Zea, in the state of Mérida - Venezuela, where we are dedicated to the comprehensive care of people with disabilities, who, due to congenital or acquired causes, present dysfunction or permanent absence of their capacities to mental, intellectual, psychic, sensory, physical order or combinations of them, and to stimulate the development of their abilities and skills within the potentialities and capacities that each person can contribute and based on a systematic and continuous process based on Comprehensive Care Programs whose Therapeutic methods (Laborterapia) are from agriculture and breeding as well as educational and recreational programs.

We are a non-profit Civil Association, we were born in the municipality of Zea in the state of Mérida Venezuela on October 17, 1985 with the main objective of creating, acquiring, managing and directing Human Development Centers dedicated to the Dignification and Integral Attention of boys with physical and mental disabilities.

In January 1986, the El Velero Human Development Center was founded in the Caño el Tigre parish of the Zea Municipality.

In May 1987, the El Alba Human Development Center was founded in the San Francisco parish of the Tovar Municipality.

Human "My Children"
In April 1992, the Mis Hijos Human Development Center was founded in Guayabal de Santa Cruz de Mora. In August 2008 it was reopened in the Caño el Tigre parish of the Zea Municipality.
