Laborterapia
At SAPRENDEH our main therapeutic method is labor therapy, based on simple tasks in the field. All our young people have an important participation, taking into account the capacities and scope of each one, feeling in this way useful, thus having a permanent activity that allows them to produce, and feel worthily useful, making significant progress.
Our therapeutic method is applied by instructors trained by Saprendeh, who follow a series of instructions to divide the tasks of the day. The young people residing in the Human Development Centers work with plants and orchards where they dedicate themselves to planting and caring for each of the elements that are grown.
In the same way, they work with the breeding of field animals in order to obtain benefits from them, which are used for internal consumption in the Human Development Centers.
Based on the capacities of each of the young people, tasks can be assigned to take care of the facilities where they carry out simple tasks such as sweeping, removing grass from the edges in the corridors and keeping the areas tidy.
An important task within the therapeutic method is that our young people help the instructors in their work, where they accompany the tasks of cooking, laundry, room organization and more.
